About Chuck
I am a life long athlete, participating in various sports since the age of 10
(including Football, Track, Softball, Skiing, Running, Weightlifting).
After Graduating from the University of Colorado in 1973 (BA, English Literature),
I went to work for the Hewlett-Packard company in Colorado Springs. I was
employed by HP for 35 years, retiring in 2006.
I became dedicated to fitness in 1993 after I was diagnosed with cancer, and
became a student of all the aspects of good health and fitness. Before I retired, I
researched the various fitness education programs available, and chose the
International Sports Sciences Association, and achieved 2 certifications in the
summer of 2007.
Because I am a ‘Baby Boomer’ (born between 1946 and 1956),
I decided to focus my fitness business on Individuals in this age group,
however, I will value any and all adult clients.
My philosophy regarding Fitness is simple: Exercise IS the fountain of youth!
Most of the infirmities that plague the American population can be reduced,
and in many cases, eliminated, with a lifestyle that includes healthy lifestyle
choices, healthy diet, and regular, strenuous exercise.
I offer patient, caring, knowledgeable personalized training, in the clients home
(I can supply adequate equipment to get any novice started towards a life changing
fitness regimen).
I offer a verity of training packages at various competitive prices, depending upon
number of sessions. The initial assessment session is free, and will help establish
basic fitness levels and provide a baseline for mapping progress.
From Mary H.:
“BabyBoomFitness has tailored my workouts based on my strengths and limitations with my health. Since starting the workouts, mixed with aerobic activity, I am stronger than I was 6 months ago. I've learned more about my body's abilities and how much I can push. Chuck is always there when I have a question, and counsels me when I travel about my eating and exercising. I recommend BabyBoomFitness to everyone, especially if you hate to work out! “
